Professional Houdini rendering, without changing your pipeline.
We built a zero-change Houdini workflow in official partnership with SideFX and 3D professionals. Drop our HDA into your network, connect it to any render node, and submit up to 100 render tasks in one go without rebuilding your project for the farm.
See how our Houdini render farm works
The demo shows the full Houdini plugin workflow: checking the scene, collecting the required files, submitting the job, monitoring progress and downloading finished frames back to the output folder on your machine.
Built for your workflow
The plugin runs inside Houdini, reads the scene as it is, and handles the parts that usually make farm submissions annoying: paths, linked assets, caches, plugins and downloads.
Official SideFX partner
We created a workflow together with SideFX and 3D professionals that fits into real Houdini render pipelines. We developed a system for zero-change submissions: your project should not need to be adjusted just to send it to the farm.
Drop-in HDA workflow
Place our HDA in your network and hook it up to any render node: file caches, Alembic files, USD TOPs, Redshift, Karma, Mantra and more. You do not need to collect files, remap paths or prepare a farm-specific project; we handle that on our side.
Render whole dependency chains
Connect multiple nodes at the same time and the farm follows the order. You can render your cache files first, then start the final render automatically once those caches are complete. A single submission can start up to 100 render tasks.

Where Drop & Render delivers
Supported Houdini versions, engines and plugins
We support the versions, render engines, and plugins most production files rely on. The plugin detects your local setup so the farm can render with the same configuration.
Seamlessly integrated HDA
Our HDA lives directly inside your Houdini graph. Just connect it to your nodes, press submit and your render is instantly sent to our cloud; no complex exports required.
USD, PDG & Solaris support
We support the full Houdini ecosystem, from standard ROPs to complex simulations. Whether using USD in Solaris, PDG networks, or baking Filecaches: if your graph can run it, we can render it.
Direct downloads
Farm-generated outputs land directly on your drive, synchronized to the exact local folder path defined in your ROPs. It feels just like rendering locally, but with the power of thousands of cores.
Natural dependency management
Utilize your Houdini graph logic to control the farm. We respect your dependency chain, automatically waiting for simulations or textures to finish before starting final renders.
Fair priority policy
Pay for results, not just priority. You're only charged for higher tiers if they speed up your job. If machines are available, even 'Diamond' priority is billed at the 'Sapphire' rate.
Concurrent job support
Render all nodes in one click; Simply connect our HDA to your entire network and launch up to 100 concurrent jobs instantly. From a single submission, we analyze your graph and render every connected output simultaneously.
Redshift, Octane, Karma & Mantra
Native support for all major render engines, such as Redshift, Octane, Karma (XPU/CPU), and Mantra. We automatically detect and match your specific Houdini version to ensure pixel-perfect consistency.
Mobile-ready render monitor
Monitor and manage your renders from anywhere without needing your workstation. Our responsive web dashboard and mobile app let you view logs, track progress, and manage costs on the go.

Advanced sync & remap system
Highlighted features
Our Houdini render farm is built for professionals who need more than just raw power. From smart asset handling to custom pipeline integration, we’ve developed advanced tools that make your rendering faster, more reliable, and easier to manage.
Resubmit workflow
Test a few frames first, then resubmit with updated settings straight from the dashboard. Drop & Render reuses caches and dependencies automatically, so you can focus on the final result.
Connect your entire office to Drop & Render
Invite teammates, assign roles, and keep everyone in sync. Share assets, download results, and work together on the same projects without missing a beat.
Save time & bandwith by reusing synced assets
Reuse large caches stored on our render farm without downloading them again. A powerful way to save time and bandwidth in your Houdini render workflow.
Understanding render dependencies
Chain your Houdini nodes the way you like and let Drop & Render handle the order. From parallel jobs to complex dependencies, the HDA adapts to your workflow so everything renders in the right order.
Customizing your global and per-render settings
Fine-tune your render jobs directly in the HDA. Set frame ranges, test specific frames, and assign priority so you get the results you want, when you need them.
Understanding asset management
Our asset manager scans your scene and handles all path remapping automatically. Quickly add missing files, skip already-synced assets, and keep uploads fast and hassle-free.
Optimize your render with a Custom Slice Number
Speed up rendering by setting the right slice value. Reduce overhead, save credits, and get more out of our Houdini render farm.

Powered by the latest hardware
A render farm is useful when it has enough machines available at the moment your deadline gets close. We run current-generation render nodes in our own Dutch datacenter, with typical jobs spreading across around 100 machines in parallel.
Hundreds of RTX 4090 and 5090s
Jobs run on a modern CPU and GPU fleet, with hardware selected for the renderer and version your scene uses.
Massively parallelized renders
Image sequences and task graphs are split across many machines at once, so deadline work is not waiting on one oversized workstation.
More capacity for urgent work
Higher priorities get first access to available machines and can gather around 300 nodes for a single job when the farm has room.
Hosted in the Netherlands
The render nodes are part of our own EU fleet. Our datacenter follows industry standard safety, security & redundancy policies.
